CNET & Linkbait

by Da'Von B.

This isn’t the first time CNet posted something that was obvious low in context and pure linkbait material, and so it continues. Obviously CNet changed the headline more than likely due to a substantial amount of readers calling them out on it in the comments as well as other tech sites highlighting the blatant misleading language they initially used. This won’t be the last time CNet uses misleading language in a headline to generate clicks to their site, but hopefully people are more aware that linkbait must be called out, otherwise the madness will continue.
