An Actual iPad 2 Competitor…isn’t an Android Tablet
by Da'Von B.
The HP Touchpad is essentially an alternative to the iPad 2…a solid one at that. The simplicity is there, the fluid UI is there, the ease of use is there. After playing around with a handful of Android Tablets though their descent they felt rushed and hashed. Playing with the HP TouchPad you get a sense that they understand to take their time and pay attention to what consumers would want. HP has gone for vertical integration (something Apple has done and mastered for some time) which is why it has a solid chance to truly succeed. The iPad 2 will reign for sometime but at the end of the day it isn’t an Android tablet that’s a solid second option it’s the HP TouchPad.
